I’m Abbie Hollebone, 17 and an imaginative, ambitious and charismatic individual. The reasons why I need to be a Topman Controller are boundless, however some of my reasons are as follows. Since Topman is such a prestigious organisation, having the opportunity to work with them would be incredible and as an innovator I would continuously think of different ways I could contribute to the work of Topman CTRL. Not only this, but to attend Underage Festival and immerse myself more into the music scene would be an invaluable experience and an enjoyable one at that! My knowledge and enthusiasm for music led me to gain experience at NME Magazine, where I acquired proficiency in writing both gig and album reviews. Moreover, my experience at BBC Radio One was overwhelming, I learnt to engage with bands and artists in a collected manner and I also broadened my knowledge of the music industry. I have voluntary worked at my local community radio where I had my own radio show focusing on emerging bands from the local area whose gig’s I would attend during the week. Some of the tasks involved interviewing guests and engaging with my audience through various social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. I would be eternally grateful if you would even consider me for this incredible opportunity.
