Hello, I’m Rebecca, I’m 16 from Kent and I’d like to enter the Topman CTRL competition because I see it as an amazing opportunity. I feel that being able to take over the Topman CTRL website and being able to interview people at Underage festival would be fantastic and be a great experience for a potential future career in media that I hope to pursue. I’ve been very interested in music from quite a young age and have been playing guitar since I was eleven. I have recently been in a band and I am working on my own acoustic music at the moment. I like a wide range of different types of music and feel as though I’m very open to new bands and different styles and I often find it easy to relate to other people’s music tastes. I absolutely love writing and I’ve wanted to be a journalist since I can remember; I’m specifically interested in music journalism and I’m a avid reader of magazines such as NME, Clash and Artrocker. I’ve been told I’m a friendly and bubbly person and I feel this would help me in interviewing people at Underage. I hope you like my radio show, thanks so much for the opportunity!
