Our names are Ife Akinroyeje 15 and Kadeena Davis 16. At the moment we both attend the BRIT School. At the moment Kadeena is studying Theatre, she is a great performer, with the ability to capture an audience, and engage with a range of different individuals.
Ife: I am studying Media and Art, alongside the normal stuff. I take a particular interest into music, events, media, art, photography, journalism, and presenting, and I aspire to be a journalist, presenter and photographer one day. I love finding new music, and exploring the world of Media. For me I enjoy finding the music which is not mainstream, and looking at a range of artists. In the past I have interviewed many different musicians, and worked with City Showcase Festival, which meant I was able to work with artists like Master Shortie, Morning Orchestra, Conrad and the Scoundrel and Donaeo. I have already had experience on the radio, as I have worked for BRIT fm, not only did I present a show, I also done script writing, computer operating and the driving of the show. When it comes to presenting and journalism I believe I am developing my skills as I go on, already I have done a lot of journalism work experience, so I have been lucky enough to be able to learn skills from professionals. I was able to do work experience at a range of Media companies; reviewing and previewing music and events. I even own a music blog www.ifeakinroyeje.tumblr.com, and my picture Tumblr; www.loveandlunchboxes.tumblr.com,on these blogs you will find my work, as well as reviews and previews. I hope through doing this I can develop my skills, and learn more. I also hope to use this as a platform, in a step to reaching my ambitions.
