Some ideas for next years app, some more sensible than others :)

How about a feature where you can add reviews for the food stands and see what other people think of them too, if they are worth the cost or give you food-poisoning free or taste good ect.

A map would be vital, but you could add the option of navagation to points in the park, so if youre rushing between stages you dont get lost and can find the quickest route.

Realtime queue updates, like the waiting times at the begining of themepark entrances, so when you get out of the tube you can estimate if you have enough time to go to a cornershop or not :P

Maybe a badge system (like on foursquare or getglue) where you check into different places/acts. For example if you check into all the charity tents you get a virtual ”charity” badge, and if you check into Devlin, Fugative, Roll Deep ect you get an ”Urban” badge. Things like that. Maybe the person with the most badges at the end of the festival wins something, or if you get ten or more you can get a virtual badges in real form (pin badges)

QR code treasure hunt around victoria park? Win vouchers for merch or next year’s festival, or unlock exclusive interviews with artists for each code, and then each code gives you a hint to where the next code is.

A list of all the acts, you then select which ones you want to see. The app then automatically lists them in time order and tells you which act is where. You then get a push notification 5 minutes before an act you want to see starts. Also when youre making the list all clashes are displayed so you can sort it out fast. 

Push notifications for last minute cancellations by acts or lineup altercations would be quite useful

A link to tfl.gov.uk so you can quickly work out if any tubes have issues so different travel arrangements can be made.

You may have heard of an app called Bump. It shares all your contact details with someone else who has the app when you litterally ‘bump” your phones together. You could do this with your app so friends can share the list of acts they plan to see.
