MY UNDERAGE APP IDEAS!
Dear underage festival!
Next year for the underage festival app, I suggest almost a virtual map, with different stages and tents leading to different pages:
- The line-up ‘tent’ as well as what stage and times they artists are playing.
- Also in these ‘tents’ you can have a link from that particular artist to their page, with what they are looking forward to underage, links to their website and lyrics, downloadable wallpapers/posters and links to buy their singles. You could also have the option that when you enter an artist’s page you can listen to one of their singles.
- A food tent, with reviews of the best places to eat, as well as advertisements for stalls. You could also add special pages for popular/new food stalls. An idea is people could book ahead for a particular food stall, so they can have their food ready for them a particular time at the festival.
- A ‘tent’ with a gallery of photos/clips from last year’s festival.
- You could have an ‘inbox’ ‘tent’ where people can post/chat about what they are looking forward to at underage, what they’re wearing etc.
- A news ‘tent’ with competitions, new gossip, interviews, last minute cancelations, sign ups, and general know-how about the festival.
- A merchandise ‘tent’, where you can pre-order merchandise so don’t end up with nothing. This page can also have prices for the merchandise for those who do not want to order ahead.
- An organiser ‘tent’ where you can sign up and select what acts you want to see, then your organiser tells you what times the artists are playing that notify you on the day when you should be moving to see this act.
- Links to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc.
- A travel ‘tent’, with links to various travel websites (TFL, London rail) as well as notifications on the day for any last minute delays, cancelation of trains etc.
- Most importantly a map, either one for your phone or one you can download and print out.
- You could have a game ‘tent’ where you can earn points by answering quizzes on acts, solving ‘mysteries’, ‘JANELLE MONAE CANNOT FIND HER LUCKY SOCKS! CAN U?’ these points can unlock various exclusive info, like interviews, free merchandise etc.
